We offer the TOVA Test (Test of Variables of Attention) for patients ages 6 and up. It is a computer-based test made up of two parts: visual and auditory. The test measures how quickly and accurately a person responds to the visual and auditory stimuli.
Each part of the test takes roughly 20 minutes to complete; the entire test will take up to an hour.
The results of the TOVA Test are not a diagnosis; they are a tool that doctors can use to better diagnose and treat their patients.
For best results, the test is administered in the morning. Patients should decrease the amount of caffeine and nicotine intake on the day of testing.
